Crispy Coop Debuts in Reynoldsburg; I Love Noods Soft Opens Near Campus

The Crispy Coop opens a new location today at 6330 Tussing Road in Reynoldsburg. The fried chicken shop first opened in Grandview in 2020 and operated a Pickerington location that opened in 2021 but closed recently.
A location of the growing chain I Love Noods soft opened this week at 9 E. Lane Ave. near the Ohio State campus. The noodle bar features ramen, pho, dumplings, rolls and boba tea. A grand opening is planned for Friday, April 26. That day all bowls of noodles will be available for $1.
OH Pizza & Brew took to social media recently to share that it’s actively looking for a new location, citing building issues with utilities, heating and cooling, and more. The pizza shop is currently located on the ground floor of the Key Bank Building, 88 E. Broad St. Downtown. The Columbus Dispatch recently highlighted more of the issues plaguing the building under new ownership.
The Korean stall at East Market, Koso, is planning a ramen edition of its Koso After Dark pop-ups on Friday, April 26 from 7-9 p.m. Guests will be able to order specially made bowls of ramen at the ticketed event.
Playa Bowls opened a location at 2193 Quarry Trails Dr. late last month. The chain allows customers to build their own plant-based bowls, and serves smoothies, cold brew coffee and cold-pressed juices.
This week, Law Bird cocktail bar kicked off a two-week pop-up called Sakura City Pop. The specialty menu runs through April 28 and features drinks inspired by the House of Suntory Japanese whiskeys.
